Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Ephydridae? ID (Tanzania)

Hello,

I photographed these flies on Sargassum on the shore in Kendwa, Zanzibar (Tanzania), on February 21st 2023. I think they may be Ephydridae, but I'm not completely sure. Is it possible to identify their genus or species from these photos?

Very long anal vein excludes Ephydridae. Perhaps a Scaptodrosophila.
