Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Culicidae: Aedes geniculatus ♂

Hello,

I photographed this fly near Cesacastina (TE), Italy, 1250m a.s.l. on July 19th 2023. I think it is a Culicidae, but is it possible to identify its genus or species from these photos?

Hello Emanuele, as far as I can see it could be the male Aedes geniculatus.
