Hi,

a few days ago, I took a few pictures of a medium-sized fly on a leaf. My guess would be that it might be a female of Phaonia, maybe Phaonia tuguriorum. Can that be confirmed/excluded from the attached images?

Germany, Southern Bavaria, Garden in Munich (-West), 09.11.2023, app. 8 mm

Hi Uli, I think female Phaonia tuguriorum is correct!
