It's not an
Anopheles sp.
- Anopheles' palps are as long as it's proboscis. I cannot see enough details to be sure but I guess it's a
Culex sp.

Thanks, Eric, hopefully I have learned something. Apparently, moving the palps & proboscis back & forth helps them pierce our skin without us feeling it -- or so I learned from being a nurse. thanks again.
