Hello,

This fly seems to be Hydrophoria lancifer ?

Plumose arista, setulae on scutellum and between ac (so no Hylemya), no dark foremarginal bands on abdomen and short epandrium

What do you think ?

As no-one else seems to be willing to volunteer, I'd say that this very likely is Hydrophoria lancifer. An abundant species during summer. Especially in May to July. In Denmark, anyway Smile
