Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Copromyzinae (Sphaeroceridae) -> Limosininae

I found the keys of Pitkin after this picture, so I can see details are missing. Already the "Postocular setae" I find hard to see, but I suppose in single rowed? Hope somebody can tell more.

Thank you very much John Carr! I thought Copromyzinae, because I believed the Vein-M reached the wing margin, and it seemed there was a cross-vein for the basal/discal cell, Vein Cua1 also not reaching the margin.

In the other subfamilies both veins from the discal cell reach or come very close to the wing margin. In Sphaerocerinae both veins reach the wing margin. The discal cell of Copromyzinae is longer so even the truncated CuA1 vein is close to the wing margin.
