He was reluctant to open it's wing so I can't see if yellow rich tergites margin. Male doesn't have the Y mark between the eyes for comparison.
So it is still possible to ID or this case is closed?

Pics are not very sharp. Genitalia look large (clear bulb even from this angle =
corollae). Scutellum yellow-haired (=
corollae/latifasciatus). Postocular orbit small near vertex [the yellow strip behind the eyes, seen from the side] (instead of broad in
latifasciatus). South-European
latifasciatus can have 'sunglass-like' spots on abdomen too, but these don't or hardly reach sidemargin on T2 and 3. Also I think to see a curve near the apex of the anal vein.
