First pic is overlighted... is it
lapponicus? Looks like it on the second picture. And pics of the belly are always nice.

Well, I don't think you take pictures. You don't choose where the fly sits and if it sits on a white wall you have to add extra light, otherwise it looks like

I do take pictures... but anyway, sometimes we don't have the luck to shoot a perfect one. That's a fact. I didn't write it as a criticism.
About the tachinid: it does show the wing venation very well

I think that the bend in the questionable vein is rather shallow, so this must be E. luniger. It is interesting that in the other photo seems to show a deeper bend, but I think it is an illusion resulting from the angle the wing is held.
The first photo is not great, but still informative.

Nonetheless, the first picture is overexposed
Not being an
Eupeodes specialist (it is a difficult genus) I will only say that it is definitely not
E. lapponicus.
