The hypodermic needle tip, a bit blunt, is from a 1mL syringe.
EDIT: The hypodermic needle is 0.5mm diameter

This is nothing comparing the female mutillid sting...
the bite of this kind of wasps is among the most painful (ok. it lasts just a very few minutes.
