Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Diptera (?) larva (?)
#1
Sochi, Black sea, early spring (07.03), small forest mountan stream, 10-15mm, in places with the most fast flow, on stones.

Could they be flatworms, Planaria?
#3
Realy, they looks like Plathelmyntes. I didn't regard this possibility because of very fast water, I don't know why.

I think it's possibly larvae of Diptera: Simuliidae; see also

Thank you Mario.
Tomorrow I'll try to dig in Yankovsky - key for Simuliidae of Russia and exUSSR.

Mario, I did check Yankovsky key for Simuliidae.
Still without final conclusion.
Or with conclusion that photo itself isn't good enought to come to conclusion.
Next spring I'll visit Sochi again and try to find answer.
