All i know about this one is that i always find them in some holes in rocks or walls...havent seen them on flowers.
So please tell me what this is please.

Looks like maybe a cryptine or banchine ichneumonid wasp to me - but maybe cthirion can add more?
As a good rule of thumb, if you can see 2 wings on each side then it goes in 'other insects'

In this case the wasp is holding it's front & hind wings together but you can see the shape of the smaller hind wing clearly in the first photo.
