Found around 5p.m., Apr 29, 2006, hanging on a dead aspen trunk, in a damp forest of Populus tremula + a lot of Corylus avellana, and some Quercus and Betula. Size 4-5mm.

A gall midge, Cecidomyiidae. This is more or less what the genus
Cecidomyia looks like, but there may be similar genera.
