I saw this male Fannia canicularis and noticed that it had brown patches along its body. I need help to identify these strange passengers.
location: Oporto, Portugal

These are Laboulbeniales, but I don't recall ever have seen so much on one individual.

Thank you Jan and Tony. Today I saw another male F. canicularis with these fungi.
Does anyone know if someone is interested in seeing these?

W. Rossi ( vrossi@univaq.it ) or Jan Maca ( jan.maca@nature.cz ) might be interested to see these (and should be able to name them for you).
#6
Thank you, I will send the fungi to one of them.

Hoi Rui,
I think Dr. Rossi is actually the one who identifies the Laboulbeniales.
#8
Thanks Jan, I'll send to Dr. Rossi.

This Laboulbeniales was identified by Dr. Walter Rossi as Stigmatomyces ceratophorus, a new species to Portugal. Dr. Rossi says he is interested in receiving specimens, so if anyone finds infected specimens try to send them to him.
Below is a photo by Dr. Rossi of this species:
