Thread subject: Diptera.info :: New Mexico Fly

Another fly from New Mexico USA. This one was from an area where the Organ Mountains meet the Chihuahuan Desert. Is this a Robber Fly, Asilidae?

Paul, you are right! Wink This is not a therevid, it is a robber fly genus Efferia, the males have the long genitals, easy to recognize...
