I photographed this Moth at a lit window at Scatsta Airport a few months ago. Haven't been able to find a match anywhere. It does look pretty worn.

Some indication of size would be quite useful. How about Proxenus hospes.

Hi Gordon..I've just been trawling through all my Moth photo's and found what it is....VERY WORN Bactra lancealana. Smile
Proxenus hospes would be about 800ish miles north of its last sighting in the UK..Isles of Scilly. Only 5 sightings in the UK according to UK Moths.
