Thread subject: Diptera.info :: unknown larvae

hi dipteraforum,

I got this little larvae on dead leaf, underneath wood.
size: ~4mm
Many times I can see faces, looking at these things..
I edit my imagination for one time to show you..
What kind of larvae is this?
On the larvae there is sticked some mud and dirt.

I don't know if this is the same species but this is an other specimen and it's got some simularity with the one above here.

It looks like the lower one has much longer and stronger setae. My guess would be that that one is a Stratiomyidae.

I think that the lower larva is much more likely to be something like Pericoma (Psychodidae). I don't think it's a strat. The upper larva may be a psychodid too, but I'm not sure.
