Sorry for delay...internet off again Frown.
What kind of birds Andre...feathered or t'other kind?
If it's the feathered type then you need pretty serious kit to be able to get a decent photo. We get a lot of Twitchers up here, with lenses like an elephant in heat..or a TeleFunken U-47...(Frank Zappa, Joe's Garage #1). Mind you t'other type like those too Wink. Twitching involves a lot of hiking over moors etc., whereas I can go out in the garden and get close up and personal to whatever happens to decide to land there. Attached is an example. How close and with what size lense to capture a tiny Wren or something similar in such detail as this Hoverfly?
I think I'll stick with flies....

I would need a complete recordplayer to play my Joe's Garage # 1 & 2 Grin

But that's the kind of birds I was talking about.
Don't think the other 'birds' are much interesting.. (preoccupied I guess? Wink )

But now I understand why you keep sending us Eristalis pertinax and Eupeodes corollae... you never leave your garden???
Get out in the moors, struggle your way through the bushes and show us what's there!

Have a beautiful sunny spring-weekend, like I will too!

Yes...I'm waiting for a new Drive-Belt for my Record Deck..Michell Transcriptor Hydraulic Reference to play my copy too Vol1, 2 and 3. The weather here is no good for photography, still blowing a gale, sunny with heavy showers..and I work all weekendFrown. Still off all next week, so might head for the hills...no bushes, just heather. Roger
