hello flyforum,
Yesterday-evening I found some of these flies..
I've got just one picture of it, so that makes it not easy.
What kind of fly is it?
Do you have an idea?
greeting, robert

Nemotelus (pantherinus)
from Stratiomyidae. The elongated face is very characteristic for this genus among stratiomyidae. It is a male. Females have a mostly black abdomen and they are not always easy to tell apart.

Hi Robert,
Kahis is right! The fact that the underside of the abdomen is white points to
Nemotelus pantherinus
(Linneaus, 1758).
