Hi, are these Ceratopogonids? In our dog's bowl, NE Hungary, May. About 6-7mm long (larvae)

These are indeed the immatures of a Ceratopogonidae, that is the genus Dasyhelea. This is a typical genus for temporary habitats like yours or other small artificial waters. The larvae is typical in having hooks or spines on the anal segment and the pupae also has additional spines on the anal segment, in both pictures visible. When present in these habitats than abundantly.

Thank You for Your recent comments. By this time, the larvae found the small jar I kept them in uninhabitable, and they were able to climb out and climb up on the glass! Now i put them to fresher water.
