I shot this black wasp in a park. Length approx 22mm incl the antennae. Location: Malaysia.

I am guessing that it belongs to the family Tiphiidae(from the box-shaped mesonotum and the hairy body). I once had a lot of wasps with a similar structure in malaise trap samples from Western Malaysia
