Thread subject: Diptera.info :: another Tolmerus species from Germany

Hello

This asilidae is from 29.07.09 (Germany/Hessen). This robber looks like (for me) Tolmerus atricapillus.
(This species was significantly larger than the species of my recent postings)

Who can confirm or determinated the name of this asilidae?

Hi Markus,

yes, Tolmerus cf. atricapillus, but you know, no 100% identification possible with Tolmerus females on pictures.
