Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Fannia?

Hello

This tiny fly with some white on its face, holding its wings spread...
On a bush, near a pond. Optevoz, Is?re, France 7/07/06

My guesses are Metopia or Fannia.

Not Fannia but Phania I think Smile Looks like Phania funesta (Tachinidae).

"Fannia" looked more feminine, more "Frenchie"... (sigh) Wink
