Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Eristalinus sepulchralis

Took this photograph today which shows the hairs on the eyes. There seems to be a hairless area at the back of the lower part of the eye. Is this just not visible in photo or does sepulchralis have a small bald patch or did I get the id totally wrong Shock?

The hairless part should be on the lower half of the eye. In this case it looks hairy.
