I hope it is "baccha elongata" - is it, a female?
pic's are not as well I would like have them . . .

Location: Switzerland, 600 m.ü.M., edge of a wood, near pond
Date: 27.08.09
Size: very small, about 8mm

I agree they are difficult to photograph. Small, in shadowed places (most of the time) and almost always flying around.

one flash and they are gone - into darker shadow :-(
My hope ist to find them again and again and one day to have nice pics from this nice fly.
