Hello!
Is this male Tabanid, visiting the UV light yesterday night (Ostwestfalen/Germany), a
Haematopota crassicornis (rather dark wings)? Thanks in advance!

I'm struggling with this one!

The first antennal segments appear to be extensively dusted, which suggests
subcylindrica, but I don't know that species, and as it's supposed to have light grey wings, it hardly fits.
Have you got pictures from any other angles?

I have got some other pictures, but I don't think they are better. :-/

The wings are quite dark, yet the first antennal segment is clearly and largely greyish dusted. Therefore, it cannot be crassicornis.
Difficult to tell what it really is.
