Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Different Pipiza sp. for ID

Is a species ID possible?
Pictures were taken in Germany, Chemnitz.
The 1st photo is from June and the next two from July.
I guess the female could be P. quadrimaculata, but more than 10 species in Germany.
Are the next two P. bimaculata or do they belong to different species?

Thank you, Andre. It was very windy and so pictures are not very clear. I hope this view and the next one can help. Unfortunately it is not completely lateral.

These pics are very good, because we can see the tarsae very well. And it confirmed my hunch, they are almost all very yellow! Still, because Pipiza is extremely variable, it is still very difficult, especially from a picture. But for the moment, I would say it is a male P. fenestrata.

Thanks, Andre. In the next days I will load the pictures up (as Pipiza cf. fenestrata), because this species is not in the gallery.
