The first is a male of
Chrys. cemiteriorum/basalis, not seperable on this picture. The other one is a female
Chrys. solstitialis.
Try to avoid multiple pictures from multiple locations/dates in one thread, please. I saw Gerard was very generous with his answers on your Chrysotoxum thread, but usually it is not very inviting to answer threads like that.
And please, don't forget to name dates (you forgot in the female).

The second image (the female) is from July, 2009, Hungary.
I like these one thread for multiple species of genera threads, because they allow better comparison. For example it is now clear for me what yellow base of wings mean. On the pics even solstitialis seems to have yellow wing base, caused by the reflection from the ligth calypters. But the wing veins are clearly dark in solstitialis and yellow in the male.
But if most of you do not like it, I can post only one animal per thread.
