Hi
Anyone knows an asilidae expert for Iberian Peninsula (Portugal + Spain)?
I tried to contact Fritz Geller-Grimm but the email doesn?t work. I want to know what is this:

The second one (on pine bark) looks like
Machimus atricapillus, but you will need that expert to confirm this, as I don't know all the Portugese species.
You could try Manuel Rubio ( ) who is (or was) at the University in Salamanca, Spain.

Salamanca is not so far from Viseu! It is more nearer than Lisbon.
(I mean, I arrive more quick to Salamanca than Lisbon). 2 hours of trip to Salamanca.
