Hi


Anyone knows an asilidae expert for Iberian Peninsula (Portugal + Spain)?
I tried to contact Fritz Geller-Grimm but the email doesn?t work. I want to know what is this: http://www.flickr...t-1161944/

I showed these before here in forum and no have more advance to genus level, at least.

Hi Jorge
The second one (on pine bark) looks like Machimus atricapillus, but you will need that expert to confirm this, as I don't know all the Portugese species. Wink
You could try Manuel Rubio ( ) who is (or was) at the University in Salamanca, Spain.

Salamanca is not so far from Viseu! It is more nearer than Lisbon. Smile (I mean, I arrive more quick to Salamanca than Lisbon). 2 hours of trip to Salamanca.
