Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Some kind of small Wasp?

I found this dead on the windowsill last night and got off a couple of shots before turning in.
I'm guessing some kind of wasp?

Thanks Paul, now I know that they are often caled Icneumon Wasps but is that just a euphemism or are they actually wasps?

They are parasitic wasps.
