Hello to all!
Is there any chance to give a complete name to this Brachyopa (I suppose it's a Brachyopa...)?
Size approx. 10mm.

23.5.2010, Germany, Lower Bavaria, Natural reserve "Donauleiten" near Passau, about 460m asl

Thanks for the explanation, Gerard. I take it as related to your way of expression and not to the fly.

So I keep the cf. in the middle of the name.

Please tell me, if my interpretation is wrong.
