Hello,
Sciomyza pallidicarpa, described by Rondani in 1868, and according to various specialists, it is currently placed in Tachinidae (Gonia) and also Pherbellia (Sciomyzidae).
In the attached images of Fauna europaea and Catalogue of Life 2008, these cases are easily seen.
The question: Which is correct? Is it a junior synonym of Gonia virescens Rob.-Desv. in Tachinidae, or a valid name of a Pherbellia species in Sciomyzidae?
Thanks in advance.
