Can anyone place this beetle to family (Carabidae?) or further?

29.5.10 Corsica.

Many thanks for the quick feedback on this. It certainly matches photos I've found of that genus very well and Omophlus lepturoides seems to be a common Mediterranean species, recorded in Corsica, so it may be that, but I'm sure there are too many similar species to be sure without a microscope and a key!
