Swept this remarkable fly (6 mm) froma swamp in northern Norway. It keys out as Lauxaniidae, but I don't think it is one. Many setae of the head have gone lost, but there must have been 4 pairs of parafacial setea, P Postocular) bristles small, divergent, arista haired. Wing venation is compatible with Lauxaniidae.
Please help!

Thanks a million!
Aargh, difficult fly to key out! I concluded too hastiliy it wasn't a calyptrate. But even under Calyptrata, it's difficult to get to Scatophagidae as the anal vein is rather short. (This to my excuse!)
