I just spotted this tiny fly on my image of some sort of Sarcopaga. Any ideas? And do you know if it's there by coincidence or that ther's some sort of relationship? Thanks,
And to be more specific: it's looks like a chalcidoid from the family Eulophidae! And it must be a coincidence with the fly, these wasps are parasites of small larvae and pupae.
Greetings,
And the Sarcophaga is actually a muscid - Polietes lardarius male (the hairy eyes are a big clue - I don't think any Sarcophagidae have hairy eyes, and also there's no bend in vein M)
