Hello,

these two flies were copulating on a trunk in the sun. They were found in a open deciduous forest in the region of Marburg (Germany/Hesse; March 2011). Is it possible to determine the specie (maybe familiy or genus)? Thank you very much for attention!

Stefan

Hello Chris, hello Nikita,

thank you very much for your fast answers :-)! Lispocephala brachialis looks very good.
It should be a common specie in Middle Europe?

Regards
Stefan
