Well, I'm pretty sure about the Suillia bit (famous last words). Photographed yesterday in a pine and holm oak wood near Rome, about 5 mm long.

I think so, Sarah.
Even hairs on mesopleuron are visible.

Thanks Nikita Wink. There are quite a number of these flies in the woods at the moment, seemingly attracted by certain fungi, Sarah.
