A male it is! However, there are two similar species:
X. sylvarum and
X. xanthocnema. The latter is a bit smaller and has completely yellow tibiae, whereas the bigger
X. sylvarum has dark rings on the tibiae. I cannot decide whether there is really dark colouring or if it is only a matter of light... Perhaps someone more experienced will help!
