Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Small Xylota (03.09.11) --> X. segnis

Hello!

I cannot remember to often have seen Xylota in September, they are mostly active in late spring/early summer here (northwest Germany). Also these specimens were very small, much smaller than the typical X. segnis, only about 6 mm. On low vegetation at forest path.
