From midwest Sweden 2006-07-07. I suspect it to be a Scathophaga sp. The antenna is dark so no S. suilla. Perhaps it is Scathophaga stercoraria, although it doesn't look rough like the other ones I've seen ... or what else is there!?
Edit: Changed subject (Scathophaga sp?)

Hi Crex.
Yes, not S. suilla. Either I don't think it is S. stercoraria (but still well may be).
I think, that most probable answer - Scathophaga furcata.

Being not convinced by Kahis reply and waiting our fly to Bangkok (delayed for 7 hours

) I showed Andrey Ozerov this Scathophaga/ His reply was - 50% S. furcata, 50% - S. stercoraria. If fly havn't collected than we'll never know correct answer.
The main reason for furcata - less (or another way) dusted femoras. Second - grey without greenish/yellowish general colour of body.
So, it is not good idea to put fly in Gallery as S.stercoraria without "?"
