Thread subject: Diptera.info :: [Mintho rufiventris] Cylindromyia ?

Hello,

I was thinking about Cylindromyia, for this rather bad photo, but the form of the red parts is not what one sees on the pictures.

Hello Juergen,

We aready had several Mintho rufiventris on the forum, but this one has red eyes. The former ones were more brown.

It might have reddish eyes but it's still Mintho Smile The laterally compressed abdomen, red side-patches and 2 dark stripes on the thorax give it away Smile
