Among some diptera from Turkey I found a fly, which appears to be a Campsicnemus magius (Lw). This species is very peculiar indeed, so it is hardly possible to make a mistake, though, perhaps, in the Eastern part of the Mediterranean there are more very similar species.
According the Cat. of Pal. Diptera the species is not recorded from Turkey before. Is one of you perhaps familiar with the Dolichopidae of Turkey? Or does one of you have the e-mail address of Negrobov?

Dear Ruud,
Turkish dolis are still badly studied, and Campsicnemus magius is still not recorded here. Nevertheless, the species is known from northern and western Black Sea coast. And it has no sister species in Mediterraneans.
BTW, it decorates the front cover of Studia Dipterologica.
Igor.
