* locality - Fund?o - PORTUGAL
* date - 11.11.2006
* size - 6mm - 7 mm (medium fly)
* habitat - urban
* substrate - Car Smile

the two spurs in middle leg on this fly can give us some hint about genus?

This is probably obvious for most people here, but I'm a bit confused about how to see the difference between Scatophaga suilla and the Suillia spp ... I know they belong to different families, but even so Sad

Suillia is easy: well-developed spines on fore margin of wing (costal vein) and 1+4 strong dorsocentral setae (meaning 1 presutural and 4 postsutural).
