Sorry I dind't get better photos of this mysterious larva ... From about 30 km N of Stockholm, Sweden 2006-AUG-05. Anyone recognize it?

I think family Drepanidae, Thyatirinae. Maybe Thyatira batis.

Well, I'm not completely convinced. The photos of the beforementioned species doesn't quite match my larva, I think ... One of the problems with larvae is the lack of reference photos on the net. Anyway, thanx for the suggestion Juergen!

Thyatira batis without any doubts - larvae are quite abundant in late summer/early autumn on raspberry leaves here - different stages/populations considerably vary in size/colour.

Great! Thanx Black, and sorry I doubted your choice Juergen Wink I've now checked again for images of this moth's larva and found a couple of photos that doesn't show the fat variety, but the thinner, dry and edgy looking type.
