* locality - Silgueiros - Viseu - PORTUGAL
* date - 22.11.2006
* size - 7 mm
* habitat - open land
* substrate - brick


curled yellow and short bristles., very black body. Seems to be see easily the anterior spiracle...

Pollenia sp. ?

lateral view, sorry... the flash was almost dead... and the photo is not good. blurry photo. Sad

Yes, male Pollenia - very difficult (usually impossible) to identify to species from a photo
