Size approx. 9 mm. December 12, 2011, Trat prov., Koh Chang island, White Sand Beach area, Sai Khao Inn env., edge of rubber tree plantation.

I saw a different ant-mimicking spider nearby Jorge, couldn't shoot or catch it though, it was looking rather like a crab spider. Yes I think yours is a very similar or same fly miscicapa.
