Hello!
Among the many
Drosophila immigrans on the bananas in our garden (Ostwestfalen/Germany) there are some other, which are even smaller, only about 1.5 mm (so no better photo possible). Not very well visible on the pic below, but some parts of the topside of the abdomen are darker than others. Could this be the famous
Drosophila melanogaster? Thanks in advance!
