Could you give me some information about this fly?
Shore of brook in mountain at 1500m. Ourense, NW Spain. July 2006. Size 20mm.

I think it is Dasypogon diadema (Fabricius, 1781)

It is clearly Dasypopgon sp., but identification as diadema is uncertain. There are some related species in the mediterranean, which can be identified only by examinating the male genitalia.
