Hi Paul,
I was going through the brief descriptions of R. species of Hungary. Empididae is moderately well known in Hungary, so only 60% of the species are predicted to have been recorded. Based on the data the best fit is with R. anfractuosa. This species flies in autumn, has darkened wings and a greyish mesonotum with three darker lines.
Do you think these images could show this species or something different?
