One question that intrigues me: i didn?t find yet clearly a Tachinid fly in these times, and I already saw some pupa of lepidopters... when is the normal epoch for Tachinids? Are they prefer more warm weather?

In answer to jorge ... most tachinids do seem to prefer warm weather (especially phasiines) but there are notable 'early' species, such as Ernestia puparum, Tachina ursina and Gymnocheta viridis that fly very early in the season - starting in March/April, depending on local weather conditions. Smile
