Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Scathophagidae ?

Hi,

Is this fly a Scathophagidae ? it also looks as though it has the fungal infection shown in a couple of earlier posts.

Is it possible to take the fly Id further than this ? it was approximately 10mm long in my garden in Surrey Southern England yesterday.
